Straight flush
A straight flush is a poker hand in which five cards are all of the same suit. The hand is considered higher than four of a kind, and is the second best possible hand. The only hand that can beat a straight flush is the Royal Flush. Nevertheless, the mathematical odds of making a particular five-card poker hand are the same for all five hands.
Royal flush
It may be difficult to believe, but the odds of hitting a royal flush in poker are very small. It is estimated that only four hands in every 2.6 million will yield a royal flush. However, you can calculate the odds of hitting a royal flush in poker by multiplying your total number of hands by the probability of getting a royal flush. Using this formula, you can determine the probability of hitting a royal flush based on the number of hands you play each day.
No-limit poker
Many new players start out with no-limit hold’em games. These games are great for learning basic math and pot odds. In addition, these games are usually played without crazy NLHE players. As a result, many players learn to adjust their games and become good limit players by playing NLHE.
